“I Don’t Have Enough Time For A Program Like This.”
NO Problem as that's exactly WHY I designed the Minimalist STRENGTH philosophy of training... TIME.
I know how busy everyone is these days and there's not a lot of people who can't train for hours on end, even though they'd love to, it's NOT going to happen. So, the programming within Minimalist STRENGTH MAX'd has been designed in such a way to NO session with go beyond 40 mins MAX. Typically most are only 30 mins in length.
“Looks Cool, But Not Sure I'm "Fit" Enough To Do It”
Are the training sessions going to challenge you? Hell YES!
But are these workouts one-sized-fits-all? NO.
Any program worth it's salt will have specific regressions and progressions built in. As a coach, I know this to be CRITICAL in any athletes success so MS MAX'd will always have options for you if you need help. That's where the design of the programming comes in and benefits you most. Even if you're a complete beginner and only have a small bit of experience with a barbell and kettlebells, you should be fine.
Because I'll teach and show you how to perform movements and everything can be regressed or progressed to your ability level. However, if you've NEVER lifted weights before or used a barbell, this program is probably not for you.
"Will there be Olympic lifting (Snatch, Clean and Jerk) in the program?"
Yes. These are some of the BEST movements you can use for maximum results. In the program, usually 2-3 out of the 5 days of training will involve practicing and using the snatch, clean or jerk movements in some way shape or form. But of course, I'll teach you how to perform them properly and you'll be getting my Olympic Lifting Domination system as well. But, even if you don't want or can't use the Oly lifts, there are again movements we can swap in if need be.
"How will I know how to perform an exercise or lift?"
You'll get demos for all exercises showing you exactly how I want them performed and regression options will be supplied for the more high-skill movements.
You'll also be able to get coached on how to perform a movement and get feedback if you post a video to the private Facebook group (BEAST 121 level members will get full on video critiques)
“I Can’t Train 5-7 Days a Week…”
No doubt! Who Can!?
There are 4 mandatory days a week, 2 structured "active rest" days and 1 optional day. I always encourage people to hit all five days, but if you can't there's plenty of flexibility.
Even if you only hit 3 days of MS MAX'd a day, that would be more than enough!
“Do I Need A Bunch Of Fancy Workout Equipment And A Full Gym…”
Nope. This is again one of the MAIN reasons Minimalist STRENGTH was created. You only need access to the essentials... A solid Barbell, some Weights, a Good Squat Rack, Pull Up Bar, and some Kettlebells (or DB's).
And if there's something you don't have, there will ALWAYS be a way to modify (which is where the extra support comes in handy once again)
